Diplomatic Relations Between Cyprus - Antigua And Barbuda

The Permanent Representative of Cyprus to the United Nations Ambassador Andreas Mavroyiannis and the Permanent Representative of Antigua and Barbuda  Dr. John W. Ashe signed, on 22 July 2004 , a joint communiqué concerning the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Cyprus and Antigua and Barbuda.

On the occasion of the signature of the joint communiqué in New York , the two Permanent Representatives expressed their satisfaction that two small states of the Commonwealth are strengthening their bilateral relations and friendly ties by establishing diplomatic relations. They also expressed their willingness to enhance their cooperation at all international fora on the basis of the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
